APR-MAY-JUNE 2009

Dear Christian Friends,

We are writing to express our deepest gratitude for your prayers and financial support in helping us to reach the lost in jails, prisons, the streets, Christ-centered programs and in churches.

As you know we had a three day revival March 20-22 in Rochester, NY at the Ark of Jesus Ministries (Bishop David Singleton, pastor) on Jay Street. The Lord touched one young man from the streets who was only there “out of curiosity”. The Lord so touched him that he return the next night with two of his friends who were also from the streets. They too were so moved upon by God that they came forward for prayer wanting the Lord! The young man that came the first night said he was now ready to leave the streets behind and “live for Jesus, no turning back”! PRAISE GOD! Many others came for prayer when they saw what the Lord had done. They came believing God to touch them in their fear, their weariness and in their joblessness. The presence of God so filled the sanctuary that all received encouragement and the peace that passes ALL understanding (Philippians 4:7) knowing that no matter what happens God is still in control. While there is no doubt that we are in troubled times and the church is under ever increasing pressure, we need to look to the Lord of Hosts, the Maker of heaven and earth, knowing He is our Source and our Sovereign Savior, not the government nor any man! (Psalm 121:1-8)

During my trip to New York City in March I was privileged to see five souls come to the Lord when I spoke at the Long Island Teen Challenge graduation. From there I spoke at three other Christ-centered programs throughout the city as well as at a youth service in a church in Queens. Many wanted prayer to stay close to the Lord during these challenging times so as not to lose heart.

As we previously shared we were invited to return to the Butler Prison for back to back Easter services. The Light Blue Band joined us once again in blessing the inmates. My wife shared from John 20: 1-8 challenging “the guys” to do more than just look into the empty tomb but to believe God Who raised Jesus from the dead, that He would raise them from death to life as well. In all eleven souls gave their lives to Christ that day! Praise His Holy Name!

During the revival we held April 17-19 at Free Deliverance Church (Pastor Ulysses & Josie Parris) on Hudson Avenue in Rochester, NY God moved mightily. On the first night the Lord gave me the message “It Takes a Move of God” (based on Exodus 14:13, 14; John 10:10; John 15:1-5 and Jeremiah 33:3). Nearly half of the congregation desperate and hungry for God to do a new thing came forward to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 19:2-6). All recognized we as the church cannot continue with “business as usual”! God came down in great power and met with us! During the last service a young man came in off the streets and gave his heart to Christ. As he wept he openly confessed that he really came in to “hustle” the pastor but came face to face with Jesus instead! HALLELUJAH! Isn’t our God awesome? Two others who were back sliders came to get it right it right with the Lord as well. (see Luke 15:11-32, especially verse 20 and Jeremiah 3:14).

In June we’ll be on the road again speaking at New Life for Girls in Dover, PA and at a church in Hamburg, PA. Upon our return we are scheduled to speak at Albion Prison (a women’s facility) on June 20th. Then on August 2nd we will be speaking at Wellspring Church in Clifton Springs, NY (Pastors Jim & Linda Knarr). We ask for your earnest prayers for these upcoming services. We are believing God to do great and mighty things in these last days as we know the time is short. We thank you so much that you are willing to partner with us in prayer and in support to advance the work of the Lord! It is all for His Glory!

BE ENCOURAGED IN THE LORD! (PSALMS 37:1-7)
