APRIL-MAY-JUNE
2007
Dear Christian Friends,
Greetings in the Name above ALL others, JESUS! We are writing to say thank you so much for all your support in prayer and finances. Your faithfulness to hold us before the throne of grace makes the work of reaching the lost move forward.
From March 31-April2nd we traveled to New Jersey to speak at International Revival Tabernacle pastored by Rev. Ernest Trueblood Jr. Pastor Trueblood and I attended Elim Bible Institute together in 1970’s. It was such a great blessing to see him, his family and parents after not seeing them for more than 25 years. We shared on “Keeping Your Focus” (based on 1st Corinthians 1: 18-31). Many people responded to His touch longing to move forward in the purposes of God. Days after our return we received word that Pastor Trueblood’s father went home with the Lord. It was truly sweet to have seen him before his home going. Please pray for the family.
As we shared with you last time while in Virginia in January we were seeking direction for this year. After much prayer we felt the leading of the Lord in a new direction as far as affiliation is concerned. After speaking to Dr. Ron Burgio, Elim Fellowship President and our pastor Rev. Barden Gerace we resigned from Elim with their blessing. We are now with the Rock Ministerial Family under the leadership of Bishop John Gimenez (Rock Church of Virginia Beach, VA). While it was difficult to make this decision we knew this is what the Lord wanted. This new affiliation will in no way change our ministry or our local church covering in reaching the lost whether they be in jails, prisons, rehab programs, in the streets or in churches.
April has kept us busy with services at Orleans Prison. I was asked to play my conga drums in a concert for the inmates. What a blessing to see so many inmates come forward for prayer, weeping before Him. Also from April 26-29, we’ll be in Virginia Beach to participate in The Assembly 2007 to mark the 400th anniversary of the founding of our nation and the covenant made by those who came that God would use this land to spread His glorious Gospel. While the city will be only making a note of history we as His people, will be looking to commemorate His Story in renewing the covenant in humility and repentance.
Upon our return I will be traveling to Brooklyn (May 2-7) to speak at Anchor House (a program like Teen Challenge) and in the Bronx. Once back home my wife and I will be going to Pennsylvania on May 11-14th. On Friday I’ll be speaking at the Teen Challenge Training Center in Rehrersburg, where I met the Lord in 1967 (my, how time flies!). How great is our God to allow the privilege of speaking there! My wife, Sandra will be speaking at New Life for Girls (Dover, PA) on Saturday and then at the Bi-lingual Christian Fellowship in Harrisburg on Sunday.
June looks a little quieter with only two trips on the schedule at this point. I was asked to participate in a doctoral service in Queens for my good friend Rev. Jaime Perez (who is a Teen Challenge graduate). I’ll be at the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ where Bishop Kittim Silva is the pastor. When I return home I’ll be attending a four day Chaplains’ Conference in Stony Point, NY (in the Catskills). Last but definitely not least, my wife and I will be celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary on June 26th. When we think of how it was just one year ago with so many life threatening illnesses we are so thankful for your prayers and His touch on my health. On one last note, our son Joshua will be home for 30 days before he is sent to South Korea for a year. So please keep him in your prayers as he’ll not be able to be home for that entire year. Keep all our troops, their families and the military leadership in your prayers.
Thank you all for your prayer and support. God bless you all.
Be encouraged in the Lord! (Psalm 15)

Christ,
